At last

Whee...finally over!
Block tests are over!
I have had severe headaches for the entire day.
Need lots of rest at the moment.

Anyway, lets talk about my one week holiday.
As expected, without failure, once again,
i didn't study much when I'm in Malaysia.
I had this wonderful schedule for revision that i failed to adhere to. haha
Over the term break,
I went to my aunt's new home and my grandparents house
I watched 3 movies in total, of which one is in the cinema (Race to Witch Mountain).
I watched 2 hongkong drama (盛世人杰 & 学警狙击). The latter is super nice and not all episodes are out yet. I only watched 19 episodes. Can't wait to finish it.I went shopping four times.
I went karaoke.
I cut my hair.
I bought 4 books (fiction).
I bought presents for my angel and mortal.
I ate sushi king.

Somebody commented that a few of my previous posts were very emo.
very very sorry.
i will try not to let that happen anymore.
thanks for all the encouragements from my friends who tagged.
love you all

Bad Day

I'm feeling grey today

I didn't manage to finish my Econs test
So careless
Worse is I know i could write a good essay for that question
but still, i left myself with insufficient time
Moereover, the weightage of the question is 26/100!

I also didn't win any award for SSEF
I don't actually care if i win any award
but what bothers me is that
even though i'm aware that judging is sometimes quite subjective
and the judging criteria for the competition is vastly different
I'm afraid that this might be reflective of my H3 results =(
Worse still, the rest of the students under my mentor all obtained silver award
and i was the only one who got nothing, not even bronze or merit
They had invited me to treat our mentor together one day
How do i face my mentor? I'm such a disappointment to her!

Haih... failure seemed to knock on my door very frequently nowadays
I'm pissed! I'm not gonna let this happens anymore again!

090309

Arghhh...
I'm veryvery stress now
Too many things that I have to concentrate on!
I have to
apply for leave from my CCA which my teacher i/c seemed very reluctant to approve,
then ask my mom to fax my holiday leave to school,
then find time out of my tight schedule to go buy my bus tickets,
still have to go set up poster for SSEF at Science Center,
prepare for SSEF judging on Wednesday,
most importantly, i have to prepare for my econs test on thursday,
after that, i have to find out the shortest route to my bus station,
then Saturday need to attend NTU open house but at the same time,
must take note of the time so that i wont miss my bus back to Malaysia,
have to study for bio, chem and math test during the hols too.

Wah!!!!!
by right, i should only be bothered by SSEF and econs test at this moment
but then, as you can see, they are many other trivial stuffs to settle
and things don't seem to be working out as desired
troubles are spawning here and there
it's really hard for me to concentrate like this!
save me
why is it so difficult for me just to go back and spend time with my family?
is that ONE practice really so crucial?
i am quite sure it's not!
furthermore, i seldom apply for leave
definitely not for trivial reasons that you approved for others
and i rarely have the opportunity to go back
i want to cry! T.T

anyway, impressive goal by Eduardor:

Bionic eye gives blind man sight

A man who lost his sight 30 years ago says he can now see flashes of light, follow white lines on the road, and even sort socks, after being fitted with the bionic eye, known as Argus II.

source: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/7919645.stm

How does the bionic eye work:
It uses a camera and video processor mounted on sunglasses to send captured images wirelessly to a tiny receiver on the outside of the eye. In turn, the receiver passes on the data via a tiny cable to an array of electrodes which sit on the retina - the layer of specialised cells that normally respond to light found at the back of the eye. When these electrodes are stimulated they send messages along the optic nerve to the brain, which is able to perceive patterns of light and dark spots corresponding to which electrodes have been stimulated. The hope is that patients will learn to interpret the visual patterns produced into meaningful images.

Rest in Peace

My great grandfather passed away yesterday night at 11.50pm
Although our relationship is not very close
He always remembers me
He is a stong person
I will always remember him

Sometimes, although you seldom talk to a person
His presence is what you treasure the most
